2013 Race Course Description

The adult course is approximately 5.1 km in length (see Map:GPX map, KLM ). The race direction runs clockwise. The race surface is a combination of hard packed dirt trails, rocks, roots, loose gravel roads, mud, and grass. There are small rocks to go around and over, including roots both of which may be wet and slippery. This is a moderately technical course with a significant amount of climbing (double camel) . There is a combination of single and double track and is up and down in nature with few flat sections; elevation gain per lap is 288 M per lap with 286 M decent. The estimated average lap time for Elites is ~21 minutes or less in good conditions. The kids course is a fun short loop with one challenging climb, a short technical twisty single track section.The adult and kids courses are now flagged and open  for training and pre-riding.Please refer to the Race Bible for any last minute changes.

Description:  A steep grassy single-track climb with two distinct humps ~200 meters in length.


Name: Giles’s Secret Tail

Difficulty: Moderate

Description: A long flowing off camber single-track decent with one small rock garden.

Description:  A long flowing single-track accent with roots, and overhanging trees.
